National Continence Care Awards

What are the National Continence Care Awards?

The Expert Group on Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) is delighted to once again be hosting the National Continence Care Awards. The Awards are organised by MHP Health with funding from Astellas Pharma Ltd and will take place in the House of Com-mons in April 2016

The Awards are designed to demonstrate support for ambition, excellence and leadership in continence care across the country. We want to celebrate the individual efforts, innovative practices and leadership initiatives which are ensuring that people with inconti-nence receive the highest quality care, across health and social care settings. 

What are the categories?


What is the deadline to apply?

Organisational awards will be given for: 

  • Commissioning for high quality continence care
  • Promoting continence in primary and community care
  • Dignity through continence care
  • Improving staff training about continence care
  • Improving patient information about continence

Individual awards will be given for: 

  • Continence care leader
  • Patient champion

Entry forms must be submitted by 6pm on  Monday 15 February 2016 

Entries will be judged by representatives from the expert group on LUTS and supporting organisations listed below.

Winners will be notified by Tuesday 8 March ahead of the presentation ceremony in Parliament in April 2016.
