· Improve your sleep and wellbeing

Patients in all parts of the UK can access the Feel Free Programme and it will be free of charge if you are using Gepan Instill bladder instillation. The Scottish Government is supporting this approach to the care of pelvic and bladder pain patients by funding places on the programme for Scottish patients.

Frequently asked Questions

What is the Pain Programme?

This is a simple, effective programme that will show you how to reduce your pain and the other challenging aspects of living with a chronic pelvic pain condition.

You’ll go through a step-by-step online programme over eight weeks which will teach you practical techniques. These have been distilled into simple, structured stages from the complex science about reducing pain, the need to go to the toilet urgently and frequently, and the stress and anxiety that comes with these conditions.

You’ll discover which techniques and adaptations work best for you as an individual, and develop an ability to control and reduce your symptoms.

Who is it for?

Anyone struggling with chronic pelvic pain or bladder pain urge or frequency.

What support will there be?

There is support available Monday to Friday via the help desk. You’ll be part of a compassionate Facebook community. You’ll join a group of people who have similar health conditions to you and know just how you feel, and you’ll have access to one-to-one support, as well as inspiration and encouragement in groups.

What’s in it for me?

This is an opportunity to improve your quality of life and reduce pain and other symptoms. When you have a chronic condition, not feeling, desperate, lonely, helpless, anxious can be what you strive to achieve as well as doing the things you want to do with the people you love. This project will help to improve your everyday wellness, to live in the best health possible for you.

How much time will I have to commit to this?

Less than 30 minutes, five days a week, for eight weeks. However, you may well find yourself enjoying it so much, and seeing such a change, that you choose to do more than that.

Where do I do it, and do I need special equipment?

You can do it all in your own home – standing, sitting or even lying in bed! You won’t need any special equipment. You need to be on Facebook and have access to the internet.

How do I get on the Programme?

All you need to do is schedule a call on www.bladderpainsolved.com/apply, and we will go through the enrolment process with you.
