A home delivery service provides a support structure to individuals who are using stoma products or appliances to manage bladder issues. They support the NHS by offering a repeat prescription dispensing service.

Dispensing Appliance Contractors (also known as DACs) work under a licence to offer essential and advanced services with the intention of providing a prompt service, home delivery, clinical support and minimal wastage.

You can choose to nominate a DAC for delivery of your products rather than collect the processed prescription from a local chemist and the benefit to the sufferer is that the product you order will be delivered discreetly to your door.

Benefits of using Dispensing Appliance Contractors (DACs)

DACs have a good understanding of the vast and varied product ranges for people with stomas and those managing bladder or bowel issues. They often have an office-based team available on call to advise sufferers on the best product for them taking the bewilderment out of the choice.

They offer home delivery of products and even offer the option of delivering products if you are abroad.

Ordering and repeat dispensing is usually hassle free and some also have specialist nurses working for them who provide clinical support and review the products being used to ensure the most appropriate are being used and that there is minimum wastage.


Most DACs also provide supplementary items such as disposal bags, wipes and hand gels.

 Coloplast Charter is here to make life easier for people living with intimate healthcare needs. That’s why we deliver your products free to your home, and have a team of CQC regulated specialists, who can provide you with ongoing support and advice related to your condition and routine.

 If you are a new user of continence products your nurse can register you on your behalf, or you can register yourself via the phone or on our website. Existing continence users can also register in the same way.

 All new customers to Coloplast Charter have access to our Best Start Programme. One of the team will call you to provide reassurance and answer any questions you may have. You will also have access to exclusive online and email content including top tips and stories from other users.

 To re-order, simply call us or order online. We will request your prescription directly from your GP, who send it to us electronically or by post. You’ll be kept notified about your delivery by text or email. With each order we offer a wide range of complimentary items including wipes, hand gels and disposal bags.

 Script-easy® is a Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC) registered with the NHS and can dispense continence and stoma appliances and medical devices on receipt of your prescription.  Delivery is FREE of charge, with only the usual prescription fee payable – unless you are exempt from prescription charges.
